Basic Beading Class
Jim Shade, owner of Bead Atelier, teaches you how to tie off your jewelry with different techniques. You will also be taught how to make wonderful earrings that don't look home-made. Wear your new bracelet and earring set out of the store!

Basic Wire Wrap or Beaded Wire Link
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Learn to make fabulous necklaces and bracelets by making your own wire links with beads and finish it with a handmade clasp.
Tuition: $25 for 2 hours; per person

Brick Stitch Bangle
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Learn the basic ladder and off loom brick stitch to make this great bangle. Stack several together! Wear an armload!!! Beginners welcome in this 3 hour class. Wire will be available.

Bead Bug
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Create a designer bead bug like the famous fashion house using Swarovski crystals and Czech glass. It will be one of your favorite new adornments.

Bead a Chick
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. These whimsical chick figures are a hoot! Using tubular peyote, make one for each of your friends to give at the next “hen” party.
Tuition: $25 for 2 hours; per person

Supplies Needed: Needles and thread, 15 grams 8/0 seed beads, assorted beads for the feet, beak, eyes and comb, and 3 cotton balls. Supplies can be purchased at Bead Atelier for an additional cost.
Bead Crochet
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Put your crochet skills to work and make durable yet flexible ropes for bracelets and necklaces. This is a revival of an old craft.
Tuition: $25 for 2 hours; per person

Supplies Needed: Size 20 crochet cotton, 8/0 seed beads and a 1.5mm steel crochet hook. Seed beads can be purchased at Bead Atelier for an additional cost.
Bead Embroidery
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Have you ever wished you could paint with beads? Now you can by learning the techniques of bead embroidery. Bring a 6 x 6 inch piece of patterned fabric and create a work of art.

Big Spiders
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Eat your heart out Martha! Nancy's bringing out the Swarovski crystal spiders. So cool...super high fashion...just imagine a few crawling on your lapel. What a statement!

Chandelier Earrings
Come learn the opulent art of chandelier earring making. Jim Shade, owner of Bead Atelier, will instruct you how to make a pair of these beautiful earrings using Swarovski crystals.
Tuition: $30 for 1.5 hours; per person

Crystal Ball
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Using 30 crystal bicone beads, she will show you how to create a crystal ball. These sparkly spheres make beautiful pendants, decorative embellishments, unique buttons, and more.

Etruscan Link Bracelet
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. This is a great bracelet to showcase a special lampwork bead, or make it plain and wear several at a time.

French Beaded Flowers
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones indulges you in the opulence of the French court by teaching you the royal technique of creating beaded flowers.

Knotting Class
Jim Shade, owner of Bead Atelier, teaches the classic technique of knotting a fabulous necklace with a modern twist. This class includes a lecture, demonstration and a hands-on exercise. At the end of the class you get to wear your necklace home.

Make a Ring with Todd Bowman
Resident artist, Todd Bowman will show you how to create a fabulous cocktail ring with your favorite bead. Bling! Bling! Bling!

Palm Beach Brunch Bracelet
Jim Shade, owner of Bead Atelier, will transport you to the west coast when teaching you how to make a bracelet from chain dripping with jewels (and we mean bling-bling ka-bling, darling). It will definitely make you wave your hand for another Mimosa.

Peyote Stitch - Basic
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones brings you closer to the Native American's spirituality by sharing this popular off loom stitch. Once learned, you can create beautiful woven jewelry, amulet bags and other native crafts. This is an enjoyable beginner class that has endless possibilities.

Peyote Stitch - Crazy
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones will set your spirit free. Extend your peyote stitch skill and create a freeform patchwork bracelet using seed beads, glass, shell, pearls or whatever tickles your fancy. Basic knowledge of peyote required.

Peyote Stitch - Spiral
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones will show you how to get totally tubular. Big bangles are in! Using different sized beads and the peyote stitch your arm can sport this surprisingly light but impressive bracelet. Basic knowledge of peyote required.

Come make a rosary so we can all say a prayer. This class is pope certified. Jim Shade, owner of Bead Atelier, will show you how to use wire, beads and components to make a traditional rosary.

Spiral Brick Snake
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Learn a variation to the basic brick stitch and make a slinky rope necklace. Snakes seem to be appearing in all the latest fashion spreads. Join the revival of this 1940's Hollywood trend.

Wrap a Rock
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones shows you how to wrap the world in wire. Bring that special memento, a shell or rock from the beach, something without a hole in it and make a beautiful pendant. The possibilities are endless.

Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones is offering this class. Learn this Lynne Merchant variation on wrap a rock. A different technique is used for a wonderful display of your special rock.

Wire Basket
Master bead instructor, Nancy Jones will teach you the ancient art of basket weaving. Her wire techniques give this craft a modern edge. You'll leave the class with the knowledge and skill to carry on the tradition.

Private Lessons & Parties
We offer one-on-one or small group instruction tailored to your taste and skill level.

BEAD CLASS REGISTRATION
Visit us in person or call 713-862-1223 to register for a class. Payment is due at the time of registration.
If you have your own tools or supplies, please feel free to bring them to class. Otherwise, all tools and supplies are available for purchase at Bead Atelier.
Cancellations
Please provide us with 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your attendance. You will receive in-store credit for the amount paid for the class if you cancel 24 hours before the class begins. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the class begins or do not "show up", you forfeit your deposit or class tuition.
If a class is cancelled by Bead Atelier, you will receive a refund check.
